Tampico strengthens its tourism offering with a 2026-2027 events calendar

Tampico offers attractions such as the Laguna del Carpintero, the Pánuco and Tamesí rivers, the Historic Center, its gastronomy, Miramar Beach and fishing and entertainment activities

On behalf of the Secretary of Tourism, Josefina Rodríguez Zamora, the head of the Unit of Innovation, Sustainability and Tourism Professionalization, Miguel Aguíñiga Rodríguez, highlighted the presence of Tamaulipas at Punto México and the importance of taking advantage of this space to bring its tourism offerings closer to visitors and media.

The 2026-2027 agenda includes events such as the National Meeting of Magical Towns, Tampico Carnival, Tampico Half Marathon and Marathon, Country Club Golf Tournament and April Festivals

The Gran Fondo Tampico 2026 will take place on September 27th, with routes of 40, 60 and 120 km, some 600 cyclists and more than 2 thousand attendees.

Tampico offers attractions such as the Laguna del Carpintero, the Pánuco and Tamesí rivers, the Historic Center, its gastronomy, Miramar Beach and fishing and entertainment activities

During a press conference held at Punto México in the Ministry of Tourism of the Government of Mexico, the tourism agenda of Tampico for 2026 and 2027 was presented , which includes a wide variety of sporting, cultural, gastronomic and entertainment events, with activities programmed throughout the year to strengthen the promotion of the destination and attract visitors.
