Kingston, Jamaica — Jamaican Reggae and Dancehall artist Amlak Redsquare steps boldly into the spotlight with “Fast N Pray,” a deeply resonant new single produced by DJ Baby Ace, now amplified by the release of its official visualizer following an immense wave of early buzz. Released this month, the record is already being embraced as a defining entry in the “New Age Roots” movement—anchored by Amlak’s commanding voice, militant consciousness, and unwavering spiritual message.

The union between Amlak Redsquare and DJ Baby Ace feels both intentional and organic—two creatives aligned in purpose, sound, and message. Producer and artist DJ Baby Ace, recognized as a versatile production force shaping contemporary Caribbean sound, has collaborated with Amlak on previous releases including “Rate Who Rate You” and “Itz Real.”

Reflecting on their connection, Baby Ace shares, “I first came across Amlak after seeing Spragga Benz endorse him as one to watch. From there, I really studied his work and was drawn to the depth and perspective in his writing.” That foundation of mutual respect and creative chemistry makes “Fast N Pray” a natural progression—one that fully realizes their shared vision.

A respected “singjay” from East Kingston and affiliate of the Redsquare camp, Amlak Redsquare (Omar Gordon) has built a reputation for music rooted in truth, social awareness, and Rastafarian ideology. With standout works like The Book of Judges and “Run Di Place,” Amlak continues to evolve as a voice of purpose in Reggae and Dancehall. On “Fast N Pray,” his gravel-toned delivery cuts through with authority and conviction, offering a timely reminder of the importance of faith, balance, and spiritual grounding in an increasingly chaotic world.

Driven by intention, the track delivers more than sound—it delivers substance. “I hope listeners take away the positivity and really apply that mindset—to do good, to stay grounded, to pray,” says DJ Baby Ace. “We need more music right now that encourages respect, self-awareness, and spiritual discipline. There’s a gap, and this song speaks directly to that.” Written entirely by Amlak, the song reflects his signature ability to translate lived experience and spiritual insight into music that resonates across generations.

“Fast N Pray” also reflects a creative shift for DJ Baby Ace, known for his uptempo Dancehall productions. “I wanted this to feel different—mellow, soothing, almost meditative,” he explains. “I built the foundation to tap into that positive, spiritual energy, and Amlak brought it to life perfectly. His delivery makes the message hit even harder.” The result is a seamless fusion of roots Reggae soul and contemporary sound—bridging tradition with innovation.

The official visualizer, directed by @roesummerz and filmed in Kingston, Jamaica, extends the record’s message through calming, introspective imagery. Designed as a visual meditation, it mirrors the song’s central theme—finding stillness and faith amid the fast pace of life—offering viewers a moment of reflection and spiritual reset.

Released via Shinealous Records, “Fast N Pray” stands as a meaningful testament to the impact of conscious music when delivered with authenticity and intention. As Amlak Redsquare continues to rise as a leading voice of modern roots Reggae, and DJ Baby Ace solidifies his place as a versatile and visionary producer, this collaboration signals more than a moment—it signals movement.
